New Objet was created to revive the slowly fading industry of artisanship.

During the 19th century, luxury experienced a shift towards modernity while still maintaining its artisanal essence. The Industrial Revolution streamlined the production of luxury goods and automated processes like textile and silk manufacturing. By the end of the second world war, many expert craftsman, especially in Europe, had moved on while cities rebuilt and manufacturing became more practical.

Our goal at New Objet is the find designers and artists around the world who embody the same ideologies of the early artisans and craftsman.
